Minnesota Department of Revenue Commissioner Myron Frans will present an overview of key provisions of the new Minnesota Tax Legislation (chapters 150 & 308) that passed during the 2014 legislative session.

Highlights include:
• Delaying the upfront capital equipment exemption
• Retroactively conforming Minnesota’s income tax to federal tax law
• Changes to the Angel Investment Credit
• Changes to the data center sales tax exemption
• Elimination of various sales taxes
• Simplification of the estate tax
