Presenters:
James
C. Evans
is a patent lawyer and a partner with Beck & Tysver. Chris is a graduate of the University of
Texas School of Law, and earned a Ph.D. from Florida State University, where his
research focused on supercomputer simulations of geophysical fluid dynamics
processes. His patent practice
includes computer hardware and software, energy and environmental, simulations
and modeling, and consumer and business electronics.
Allen J. Oh is a registered patent
attorney with Condo Roccia Koptiw LLP, where he focuses his practice on patent
procurement for electronic and computer-related
inventions.
Dan
Tysver
is a partner at Beck & Tysver, focusing primarily on the areas of computer
hardware, software, and consumer electronics. He assists clients in the drafting
and prosecution of patent applications, as well as patent strategy, patent
licensing, and the creation of patent invalidity and non-infringement opinions.
Dan is a frequent lecturer and author on patent, copyright, trademark, and
Internet legal issues. He received his undergraduate degree in physics from
Carleton College, and his law degree from Harvard Law School.
