Please join us for the Fourth Annual State of the Child
Summit. Amy Goetz will open the
Summit by speaking about the overrepresentation of children with disabilities in
the juvenile justice system and the “school to prison pipeline”. Following Ms. Goetz, the Honorable Gail
Chang Bohr will discuss the importance of Guardians ad Litem and Early Neutral
Evaluators in child protection and family court. Next, Grace Werner Ray, Forensic
Interviewer at CornerHouse will discuss rules and ideal circumstance for
interviewing children and testifying in court. Finally, the Summit
will conclude with a presentation around children and hearsay by Rhonda
Magnussen.
