The financing of
agricultural producers and agribusinesses require an understanding of several
unique provisions of the UCC, other state law and several federal statutes. This program will include a review of
these provisions as well as current trends and developments in commercial
agriculture and their implications for lenders which finance such
businesses.
Lunch will begin
at Noon, followed by the CLE program from 12:15 p.m. - 1:15
p.m.

Phillip
Kunkel, Gray Plant Mooty Mooty & Bennett PA
Phillip concentrates his
practice in receiverships, commercial financing, agricultural and agribusiness
financing, and workouts and bankruptcy. He is a frequent CLE lecturer on
commercial financing, UCC, renewable energy and workout and bankruptcy topics.
He has also taught a course on
agricultural marketing and production contracts in the LLM program at the
University of Arkansas Law School. Currently, Phillip is serving as a senior
technical adviser to the International Finance Corporation, a group within the
World Bank, on agricultural financing and contract matters.
