An Update on the Regulatory Priorities of the DOJ Antitrust Division: E-Books and Beyond

Deadline to Register:  Friday, February 7, 2014

Mark Ryan, Director of Litigation, Department of Justice Antitrust Division, will discuss the Department’s highly publicized lawsuit against Apple and five different book publishers regarding the pricing of e-books. Mark will offer comments on the consumer protection issues it presented and how the E-books case fits within the broader priorities of the Antitrust Division.  Looking beyond the E-books case, Mark will provide a perspective on where the DOJ may be focusing efforts and enforcement in the year to come.

Lunch will begin at 11:45 a.m. followed by the CLE program from Noon to 1:00 p.m.  Special meal requests need to be received no later than Friday, February 7.
