Please note that the Section Business Meeting starts at 12 noon and
the CLE is at 12:15 pm.
Lunch is brown bag. Refreshments will be provided,
however.
The many diverse communities in the Twin Cities are not
immune from family, neighborhood, and legal disputes. Cultural
sensitivities, norms, and expectations often become of importance in and during
the dispute resolution process. This seminar is intended to consider the
often important roles that process, belief systems, parents, and community
elders may play in attempting to bring harmony to chaos and conflict.
Areas of discussion include matters involving marriage, property, business, and
restorative justice.
