Presenters:
Gregory Torrence
has been
with the Department of Human Services for four years. He was the
former Assistant Commissioner of the Minnesota Department of Human Rights,
he also served as an assistant director at the Lawyers
Office of Professional Responsibility and as a public defender in both Hennepin County, MN and
in San Diego County, CA. Judge Torrence is a graduate of the
University of California at Davis, and received his law degree from
the University of
Oregon School of Law.
Mariam Mokri has
been Human Services Judge with the Minnesota Department of Human Services since
2014. Previously, she was a public defender with the Hennepin County Public
Defender’s Office. Judge Mokri holds a B.A. in biology from Gustavus Adolphus
College and a B.A. in political science from the University of Minnesota. She
received her law degree from the University of Wisconsin Law
School.
