Mobile Device Cybersecurity - What Can You Do To Protect Your Smart Phone?

Event Description

Deadline to Register: October 10, 2017

What can you do to protect your business or personal mobile device? This presentation will focus on proactive steps attorneys can take to limit risk of mobile data loss, breach, or corruption. It will also provide advice they can share with their clients.

We will discuss primarily personal (consumer) mobile device security issues and opportunities to include passcodes, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, encryption, backup, and malware exploit protection. We will also cover professional mobile tech issues and potential solutions to include operating systems, patch management, password management, two-factor authentication, VPN, mobile device management, app vulnerabilities, and mobile obfuscation. The presentation will be highly interactive and include iPhone and Android security demonstrations with a good deal of audience involvement and direction setting.

The New Lawyers Section Business Meeting with round table discussion will follow the CLE at 5:30 pm.
