Tips and Pitfalls for Successful Reunification Therapy

Event Description

Reunification Therapy:  New ways to reach successful outcomes.

Reunification Therapy is often ordered or necessary in extremely high conflict family law cases.  Common therapists mistakenly begin work with the reunifying parent and child that frequently result in failed attempts of repair.  While there is repair necessary between  the reunifying parent and child, the dyadic repair between the parents is primary to reunification success.  This presentation will present predictable dynamics found in cases requiring Reunification Therapy and systemic approaches to reach successful outcomes.  Implications for Family Law Attorneys will be discussed and best practices will be discussed.
