Event Description
Deadline to Register: June 6, 2017
On April 21, 2017, the Governor signed
an act revising certain sections of Minnesota Statute, Chapter 317A. In general,
these revisions provided for more alignment between 302A and 317A and modernized
certain actions to reconcile with what clients actually do in reality. In
addition, these revisions added conversion and re-domestication provisions to
317A. At this one-hour lunch session, we will go over the changes and discuss
how they can be implemented into practice. These session is for both the
seasoned nonprofit practitioner as well as for the corporate attorney
who sometimes assists nonprofit organizations.
This is a presentation is part of the Business Law
Section’s Nonprofit Corporations Committee brown bag lunch series. We will
meet at the MSBA offices at noon. Please bring your own lunch. Water
