Deadline to Register: March 28,
2017
You’ve been to our trial school and are a dogged litigator.
Or better yet… you’re new to the criminal practice, and a seminar on what’s what
would be helpful. Do you realize just how much is happening, in even the
seemingly simplest of cases? Come learn from our experienced presenters
and how they handled everything from that first call in the middle of the night
through jury trial and/or sentencing. This year our focus is on providing
accurate and meaningful advice under the difficult conditions of the implied
consent call; conducting an initial consultation that serves the client as well
as it sells service; and how to craft and present well-structured and effective
sentencing arguments. However, this year Everything But the Trial School
focuses on one particular fact pattern that will be used to conduct a complete
Rasmussen Hearing with a judge, prosecutor, defense attorney and police officer
who will bring decades of experience and insights that might help you win your
next contested hearing. The same fact pattern will be used at our annual trial
school later in the spring to provide an in-depth study of the life of a single
case.
