Event Description
Deadline to Register: September 6, 2016
This session
is a "can't miss" opportunity for those seeking no-nonsense advice to questions
all new lawyers have but are too afraid to ask: How
do
I gain actual
practical experience as
a young associate? What are the best ways to build relationships inside
and outside my firm? When should I make a career transition, and how do I accomplish this without burning any bridges? Hear practical tips on how to navigate your first 10 years of practice from two lawyers who have been there, and lived to tell the tale.
The New Lawyers Section Business Meeting with
round table discussion will follow the CLE at 5:30 pm.
This CLE
will be followed by the monthly meeting of the New Lawyers' Section, featuring
speakers from MSBA's Esquire 36 initiative, who will talk
about resources
and projects available at the MSBA which aim to support young lawyers' career
development in the first 3 years of practice. They will address concerns
such as mentors and mentorship, what do new lawyers, need? What do
