Handling
your first (or
fifth) appeal? Come
learn the basics, such as should you file, when do you file,
and how do you file. In addition to how-to basics, Judge Randolph Peterson of the Minnesota Court of Appeals will provide insight on what’s persuasive, both in briefing and oral argument. You’ll also receive information on e-filing, which is optional for now, but will be mandatory eventually.
The New Lawyers Section Annual Meeting will follow the CLE at 5:30 pm.
Council
nominations and elections will
take place. All New Lawyers Section members welcome to
attend.
