"Minnesota Sales and Use Taxes: From Audit through Litigation"

This seminar will provide practitioners with a basic understanding of how to represent taxpayers in a sales and use tax audit with the Minnesota Department of Revenue (MDR), in an appeal with Appeals and Legal Services, and through litigation with the Office of the Attorney General. Attendees will learn the basic processes at each of the three stages, negotiation strategies and tactics, and common pitfalls and how to avoid them. Attendees will also learn the similarities and differences in negotiating with each type of MDR representative and how that can impact your client.

Following this CLE program, please join your colleagues for our annual outing to see the Twins play the Oakland Athletics at Target Field (12:10 p.m. game). You must reserve a ticket prior to noon on May 7, 2012. To reserve your ticket, click here.
