The Minnesota Department of Revenue has been conducting an increased number of bar audits in the last year due to an internal audit initiative. This seminar will provide practitioners with an understanding of Minnesota sales and use tax bar audit techniques utilized by the Minnesota Department of Revenue in auditing retail liquor establishments. It will also provide practical insight to the flaws in the Department’s techniques, how to overcome these issues and provide practitioners with practical insight into this specialized area.
