The MSBA's Solo and Small Firm Section Presents


"An Introduction to Chapter 7 and Chapter 13 Bankruptcy"

Mr. Lundquist will provide an introduction to both Chapter 7 and Chapter 13 bankruptcy, examining the issues that arise in each type of case, as well as strategies and approaches to case filing. The bankruptcy process will be discussed as well as important case law and statutory considerations. In addition, a discussion of ethical implications under the 2005 BAPCPA changes to the bankruptcy code will be addressed. Please join your Solo and Small Firm Section colleagues for this timely program and lunch.


Ron Lundquist  
Ron Lundquist graduated from the Univ. of Minn in 1992, and from William Mitchell College of Law in 1996, Magna Cum Laude. He has practiced consumer bankruptcy law, both Chapter 7 and Chapter 13 bankruptcy, since 1999. He is a past member of the Rules Committee for the Bankruptcy Court of Minnesota, and is a past member of the Bankruptcy Practice Committee for the District of Minnesota. He is a member of the Bankruptcy Section of the Minnesota State Bar Association. He is the author of several CLE bankruptcy related materials, and is a frequent lecturer on bankruptcy topics. Ron has also had several full opinion pieces published in both the Minneapolis Star Tribune and the St Paul Pioneer Press on bankruptcy related issues.
