The MSBA's Outstate Practice Section and the University of St. Thomas School of Law Present:
"Beyond the Metro: Life and the Practice of Law in Greater Minnesota and the MSBA Outstate Practice Section Annual Meeting"
Please join the MSBA Outstate Practice Section and the University of St. Thomas School of Law for the Section's Annual Meeting, a panel discussion about outstate practice and a reception.
There are more than 850 towns in Minnesota, all of them full of people who need legal services. Come hear about the life of a lawyer in Greater Minnesota from a panel of attorneys who live and practice in towns large and small throughout the state. The experienced attorney panel will address the issues attorneys and law students should consider prior practicing outside the metro area, including:
• The unique challenges and benefits of practicing outside the metro area;
• The legal work done outside the metro area;
• The quality of life in outstate Minnesota; and
• Special leadership opportunities for non-metro attorneys.
