The MSBA's Labor & Employment Law Section Presents
"An Update from NLRB Regional Director Marlin Osthus"
This presentation will focus on recent developments affecting all employers, whether their employees are represented by unions or not, including the new requirement by the National Labor Relations Board that, effective January 31, 2012, all employers post notices explaining employee rights under the National Labor Relations Act, as well as the rights of employees under the NLRA to use social media to protest employer actions affecting terms and conditions of employment. In addition, there will be a brief summary of the Board’s revision of representation case procedures.
