Join us on December 18, 2012, in the annual celebration of the International Business Law Section.  This is a rare opportunity to network with your colleagues, enjoy a delicious dinner and receive CLE credits at the same time.  Become a new member and you will enjoy the dinner and CLE for free!

"US-Canada Trade Relations: Insights from New Canadian Consul General/Minneapolis Jamshed Merchant"

Almost $2 billion of goods and services cross the United States-Canada border every day. In 2011, two-way goods trade between Canada and our five-state region was $35 billion and supported 343,800 U.S. jobs. Canada is by far the number one export customer for the upper Midwest.

Mr. Merchant, the new Canadian Consul General in Minneapolis, will address current issues involving US-Canadian Trade Relations with a follow-up Q&A session open to all attendees.

Jamshed Merchant began serving as Canada’s Consul General in Minneapolis in October 2012. He is Canada’s senior representative in the Upper Midwest states of Iowa, Minnesota, Nebraska, North Dakota, and South Dakota.

This is a plated dinner. Pre-registration is required.

Teleconferencing is not available.

Cancellation Policy:

Refunds will be processed for cancellation requests received in writing on or before noon on the registration deadline. Requests should be directed to the event contact person listed at the bottom of this notice. Cancellation requests received after this time are not eligible for refunds. You may send a colleague in your place if you are unable to join us and the registration deadline has passed.
