The MSBA International Business Law Section Presents

"International Compliance: Utilizing Technology to Mitigate Third-Party Risks Overseas While Reducing Compliance Costs."

Multi-national companies use many third-parties world-wide to assist with their business operations. The U.S. government and increasingly other countries are holding multi-national companies liable for the actions of their representatives, joint-venture partners, agents and vendors overseas. It is extremely important that these third-parties be properly vetted prior to retention and that due diligence be documented in an efficient manner in order to reduce company exposure. This presentation will focus on how to perform due diligence and vet third-parties globally in a cost-effective manner in order to mitigate the risk for companies and their employees.
