Newborn screening for genetic diseases and the provision of immunizations to children raise a variety of legal, ethical, and public health issues. Gail Brandt will discuss the ethical concerns health law attorneys should consider when dealing with newborn screening and child immunization issues.
Join your fellow MSBA Health Law, Children & the Law and Food & Drug Law Section members to learn more about the legal and ethical issues related to newborn screening and immunizations. Check-in and breakfast will begin at 7:30 a.m., followed by the program from 8:00 - 9:00 a.m.
