The much anticipated Interim Final Regulations implementing the Paul Wellstone and Pete Domenici Mental Health Parity and Addiction Equity Act of 2008 were issued on February 2, 2010.

The new rules raise key questions and pose unique challenges that group health plans and insurers will be grappling with in the months to come. Join your Health Law Section colleagues to learn about the new requirements for quantitative and qualitative parity between mental health/substance abuse and medical/surgical benefits, and how these requirements might impact your clients.
