"Family Court Red Flags for Non USC Citizens/Dual Citizens"

Discuss red flags observed when representing dual citizens and non-usc parties in family court with regards to the intersection of various immigration laws and family laws, including the Hague Convention of 25 October 1980 on the Civil Aspects of International Child Abduction, U.S. State Department guidelines for divorce and custody decrees, family based immigration sponsorship and the I-8964 contract, entering divorce decrees in other countries and dealing with travel restrictions in parenting time and documents.

The Family Law Section will have a monthly meeting starting at 9:30 a.m. The Domestic Abuse Committee will meet from 12:15 p.m. to 1:30 p.m.
