Elder Law Section

Since 1990, the Elder Law Section has supported its nearly 500 members in meeting the needs of the burgeoning elder population.

In addition to addressing traditional planning needs relating to wills, trusts, taxes, and pension planning, the section also addresses issues specific to the elder community, such as elder abuse and neglect, long-term health care planning, nursing home care, Medicare, Medical Assistance, Social Security, and other public benefits.  Through a weekly e-newsletter, an annual educational institute, and a bi-monthly Medical Assistance forum, section members are provided with the resources to keep abreast of the latest developments in elder law, to network with experienced elder law attorneys, and to serve an increasingly large and complex elder population.

For more information about the section, please contact any of the section officers listed below.
