During this seminar, you will learn about the steps a surety takes to determine its response to payment and performance bond claims and learn about the surety's rights against, and obligations to, its bond principal, the obligee and others under its payment and performance bonds.
Tom Vollbrecht, Faegre Baker Daniels, LLP
Mr. Vollbrecht is a graduate of Harvard Law School. He has practiced construction law in the Twin Cities for 25 years at Hart, Bruner, & O'Brien, Faegre & Benson, and now Faegre Baker Daniels. Mr. Vollbrecht has represented national sureties in Minnesota and states across the country.
Mr. Vollbrecht is a frequent lecturer on payment and performance bond issues, including giving presentations to the Fidelity and Surety Law Committee of the ABA Tort, Trial, and Insurance Practice Section (TIPS), where he is a Vice-Chair and Editor-in-Chief of the FSLC Newsletter, and to local and regional trade organizations.
