Please join the Communications Law Section in welcoming Commissioner Phyllis Reha as she provides an insider's view of important process issues at the Minnesota Public Utilities Commission for telecommunications practitioners. You will receive great insight from Commissioner Reha, lunch, and networking opportunities with telecommunications lawyers. There will also be a short Section meeting prior to the CLE. We hope to see you there.
Commissioner Phyllis Reha , Minnesota Public Utilities Commission
Phyllis A. Reha was appointed to the Minnesota Public Utilities Commission in 2001. Commissioner Reha serves as Co-Chair of the NARUC-FERC Collaborative on Smart Response, a forum for state and federal regulators to discuss issues and make recommendations for state and federal policies to support Smart Grid and Demand Response. She is Co-Chair of the Customer Information and Behavior Workgroup for the State Energy Efficiency Action Network, a DOE/EPA supported effort to develop a National Blueprint to achieve all cost-effective energy efficiency. She is a member of NARUC and served as Chair of the Energy Resources and Environment Committee and served on the Board of Directors. She is on the Advisory Councils of the National Council on Electricity Policy, the New Mexico State University Center for Public Utilities and the Financial Research Institute of the University of Missouri. Commissioner Reha is a member of the Minnesota State Bar Association including the Communications Law Section. Commissioner Reha received a B.A from the University of Minnesota and a J.D. from the University of Minnesota Law School.
