Section Membership
As of June 16, 2011, the Business Law Section has 1181 members. This accounts for a 3% decrease in membership since July 1, 2010.
Financial Status
The Business Law Section had an account balance of $48,622.31 as of April 30, 2011.

Annual Meeting and Election Results
The Section’s annual meeting and elections were held on May 6, 2011, at 10:15 a.m. at the 2011 Business Law Institute in Minneapolis, MN.
The following individuals were elected to serve as officers of the Section in 2011-12:

Vice Chair: Karen Grandstrand
Secretary: Mike Stanchfield
Treasurer: Heidi Neff-Christianson
The following individuals were elected to serve from July 1, 2011 – June 30, 2015, on the Section Council:

Other Section Accomplishments
In addition to the Section’s legislative work and CLE programs, the Section participated in outreach to law students in conjunction with LegalCORPs. The Section also made a $10,000 contribution to LegalCORPs to help support the organization’s business pro bono programs.
