Drafts, proposes, and reviews legislation such as improvements to the Business Corporation Act, the Uniform Partnership Act, the Limited Liability Companies Act, the Uniform Commercial Code, and the Non-profit Corporation Act. Committees monitor developments in their specific areas. The section publishes a quarterly newsletter, conducts an annual Business Law Institute, presents noontime programs, and produces pamphlets on business entities and UCC filings. Committees: Banking Law, Business and Professional Corporations, Nonprofits, Securities Law, UCC, Technology, Franchising and Product Distribution and Partnerships/LLCs.
