Antitrust Section Annual "Professors' Panel"
and Annual Meeting
The Antitrust Section will hold its Annual meeting at Noon on Monday, May 20. The agenda for the meeting includes election of officers and council members for 2013-2014. Click here to view the slate of candidates.
Immediately following the Annual meeting, the section will present its annual “Professors Program.” This year we are featuring an “all Gophers” panel, featuring Professor Thomas Cotter, Professor Dan Gifford, and Visiting Professor Danny Sokol, all of the University of Minnesota.
Professor Sokol will lead a discussion of multi-product bundling and the state of antitrust law following the Supreme Court’s denial of certiorari in Eaton Corp v. Z.F. Meritor, and Professor Gifford will add the European perspective. Professor Cotter will lead a discussion of reverse-payment settlements in the pharmaceutical industry and will either summarize or predict the outcome in Federal Trade Commission v. Watson Pharmaceuticals Inc. The panel will be moderated by Michael Lindsay, adjunct professor at the University of St. Thomas.

Participation by webcast and teleconference is available. Instructions will be sent by e-mail on Friday, May 17. Registrations must be received no later than Thursday, May 16 in order to receive the instructions.
Refunds will be processed for cancellation requests received in writing on or before noon on the registration deadline. Requests should be directed to the event contact person listed at the bottom of this notice. Cancellation requests received after this time are not eligible for refunds. You may send a colleague in your place if you are unable to join us and the registration deadline has passed.
