The MSBA Antitrust Section Presents
"The EC – a new frontier for competition damage claims – Intel and beyond."
The program will introduce and explain the developing wave of competition litigation in the European Union through particular reference to the Intel litigation. It will explain the opportunities that exist for companies who have suffered as a result of anti-competitive activity in Europe and how they may obtain redress, as well as the threats to US companies & their subsidiaries involved in anti-competitive behavior in the European Union. The program will illustrate how claims can be brought, on what basis, and with what likely results. The session is aimed to be a practical introduction from an experienced in-house counsel and an experienced London litigator as to an area of increasing importance to all clients involved in global trade.
