Avoiding and Resolving Valuation Disputes with the IRS

Michael Gregory, an appraiser and former IRS executive, will provide key information on the structure of the IRS, how the structure may impact the audit process involving business valuations for estate and gift tax returns, and provide insights that should be helpful to practitioners who are navigating the audit process on behalf of their clients.

Lunch and registration will begin at 11:30 a.m. The program will begin at 12:00 p.m. 

Presenter:

Michael Gregory is a member of the American Society of Appraisers, is a Certified Valuation Analyst, and is a Qualified Mediator with the Minnesota Supreme Court.   Since September 2011 Mike has been the Chief Manager of Michael Gregory Consulting, LLC focusing on risk management issues with the Internal Revenue Service on valuation and engineering issues, alternative dispute resolution approaches to resolving issues, and other value added services.  He was an IRS territory manager with responsibilities for 23 states with an emphasis in the business valuation and engineering issues arena nationally over his last eleven years at the IRS.
