Tech Competence is Legal Competence

Event Description

Deadline to Register: March 9, 2015

Luddite lawyers are malpractice complaints waiting to happen. According to the ABA, “a lawyer should keep abreast of changes in the law and its practice, including the benefits and risks associated with relevant technology … ” That comment to Rule 1.1 recognizes the central role that technology plays in our lives and our clients' lives. Technological competence is legal competence. In this presentation, Sam Glover will explain why technological competence is so essential and identify the key knowledge lawyers need to have.

Lunch will be provided for in-person attendees.
