Bill Grant will provide
a preview of the upcoming legislative session and 2017 regulatory
issues to watch from his vantage point as Deputy
Commissioner of Energy and Telecommunications for the Minnesota Department of Commerce. In his
role as Deputy Commissioner, Mr. Grant is responsible for developing and managing programs and policies
for the Energy Planning and Advocacy, Energy Facility Permitting, Energy
Assistance, and Telecommunications units, as well as for the State Energy
Office. Before joining the Department in February 2011, Mr. Grant served
as associate executive director of the Izaak Walton League of America, a
position he held since 1995.

join us for lunch beginning at Noon, followed by the program from 12:30 – 1:30
p.m.
