Pro Bono Opportunities

The MSBA and its members help ensure fairness for all in the justice system, regardless of how much money a person has. We connect members with opportunities for pro bono legal service and promote the value and importance of pro bono work, as expressed in Rule 6.1 of the Rules of Professional Conduct. If you are an individual seeking free legal help, please visit lawhelpmn.org to be connected with legal referrals and resources.

Beginning January 1, 2022, the Minnesota Office of Lawyer Registration began requiring information from lawyers regarding their fulfillment of the aspirational goals for pro bono service in Rule 6.1. Learn More
