Condoleezza Rice to Speak at Legal Aid’s Centennial Law Day Testimonial Dinner

Mid-Minnesota Legal Aid will celebrate 100 years of service to the community at a May 23 dinner featuring Condoleezza Rice as keynote speaker.

Rice served as the 66th Secretary of State and also as President George W. Bush’s National Security Advisor. Legal Aid staff will be honored for their commitment to justice.

Introductory remarks will be made by Senator Amy Klobuchar.

The reception will also include a “Lunch with a General Counsel” silent auction featuring Jim Chosy, U.S. Bancorp; Cameron Findlay, Medtronic, Inc.; Rick Palmore, General Mills, Inc.; Marianne D. Short, UnitedHealth Group; Laura Witte, Cargill, Incorporated.

The event is slated for Thursday, May 23, 2013, at the Minneapolis Hilton, 1001 Marquette Avenue, Minneapolis, MN 55403. The reception starts with a 5 p.m. reception, followed at 6:30 p.m. with the dinner/program.
