Annual Meeting and Election Results

The Section’s Annual Meeting was held on June 2, 2017 and 66 people attended.

The following officers were elected to serve on the Section’s Governing Council from July 1, 2017 to June 30, 2018:

Law Student Outreach – January program Co-Sponsorship with Mitchell Hamline: Health Law Institute at Mitchell Hamline School of Law

Other Section Accomplishments

1) Increased membership from last bar term (June 2016 had 517 and currently 559 section members);     overall, program attendance has also increased;
2) Recruited national/out of state speakers for the October 2016 and February 2017 CLE programs;
3) Published two newsletters; 
4) Co-sponsorship with the Food, Drug and Device Section and the Mitchell Hamline Law of School – Health Law Institute; 
5) Sponsored an Elimination of Bias CLE and Co-sponsored an Ethics program this past term.
