Student Writing Competition

The Food Drug & Device Law Section is currently seeking articles from students attending the University of Minnesota Law School, University of St. Thomas Law School and Mitchell l Hamline School of Law. Students who attend law school outside Minnesota, but have an interest in practicing in Minnesota, are also eligible for the Writing Competition.  Articles should be focused on issues of interest to attorneys practicing in the area of food, drug and/or device law and should be no longer than 2,000 words.

Evaluation Criteria:
 The goal of this exercise is to encourage students to get more involved in, and to make a scholarly contribution to, the world of food, drug, and medical device law. Please focus your efforts on writing an interesting, dynamic article, that will be of interest to members of the Food, Drug, and Device Law section.
Prizes:
First Place: $500, Second Place: $250, Third Place: $100.

All winning articles will be published on the Section’s webpage.

All winners will be honored at the Section’s Annual Meeting, which will be held in May or June 2016.
