- REMINDER: MSBA Member Polling on Judicial Eections Ends September 2 at 11:59 p.m.. Electronic voting for this year's judicial plebiscite began August 19 (12:01 a.m.) and closes on September 2 (11:59 p.m). The ballot includes the two contested Supreme Court races, the two contested Court of Appeals races, and for some members, certain contested district court races. The MSBA hired Survey & Ballot Systems to administer the plebiscite. Results should be available on September 3.
- MSBA Launches Labor and Employment Law Certification. Application deadlines to become one of the MSBA's first Certified Labor and Employment Law Specialists are fast approaching. Applications are due September 7, 2010. Exam date is October 2, 2010.
