Introduction to and Overview of U.S. Tax Treaties

The presentation will describe the role and benefits of US tax treaties and their application in international tax planning and trans-border transactions.  We will review the key provisions found in most US treaties, as well as some interesting variations found in some of our key treaties, and highlight some key issues of interpretation.

Registration will begin at 3:15 p.m. The program will begin at 3:30 p.m.  The Tax Law Section Council will meet at 2:30 p.m.
