The MSBA in Kosovo: Lessons and Ways to Help

Event Description

Deadline to Register: September 15, 2015

Join the MSBA in discussing legal and personal hurdles that members of the Kosovo Bar Association are facing.  Learn from their struggles and ways that you can assist.  This CLE will highlight some of the major challenges that Kosovar advocates face, which mirror many of the challenges that we face today in the United States.  We will discuss some of the programs that Kosovo has implemented that can be successful here, and we will discuss how the integration of these ethnic individuals and women can increase the overall effectiveness of the practice of law.  We will also be presenting many programs we wish to implement, including a gender mentorship program.

This CLE is being co-sponsored by the Criminal Law Section and the Immigration Law Section.

Registration will begin at 3:15 p.m. The program will begin at 3:30 p.m.  Please join us for a reception following the CLE.
