Working with pro se parties can present many challenges. Beyond the day-to-day tasks pertaining to your file, ethical considerations and obstacles can also pop up around many corners. The goal of this presentation is to highlight the Rules of Professional Conduct that address aspects of working with unrepresented parties.

Jason M. Hill graduated from the University of North Dakota in 1996 and the University of Minnesota Law School in 1999. Mr. Hill’s practice has focused primarily on insurance defense litigation, working in areas such as governmental liability, motor vehicle accidents, premises liability and sports and entertainment liability. However, he also has experience working in areas such as probate and trust litigation and estate planning. After law school, Mr. Hill worked with a solo practitioner on the Iron Range and until very recently, he worked with a small litigation defense firm in Minneapolis. Mr. Hill currently works at Jardine, Logan & O’Brien in Lake Elmo.
