Event Description
Deadline to Register: Thursday, May 7, 2015
Annual Election. The
section’s annual meeting will start at Noon with lunch (provided) and
introductions, followed by the election of new officers and Council members for
the 2015-2016 term and a short business meeting.
ADR CLE Program. The CLE
program will immediately follow (@12:30-1:30 p.m.). Join the ADR Section
for its annual ADR Ethics in Practice CLE. Watch as the ADR Section
players act out realistic vignettes that place mediators in tough ethical spots.
We’ll confront various ethical situations involving mediators including ones
that focus on the unique ethical issues faced by "lawyer-mediators." For each
vignette, presenters will lead a lively, interactive discussion about what
ethical standards are implicated and the best ways for mediators to
respond.
Lunch will be provided.
RSVP's and special meal requests need to be received no later than Thursday, May
7.
