The Business Law Section invites you to join us for appetizers and
drinks at the Women in Business Law Networking
Event on Wednesday, September 23, 2015 from 5:30 – 7:30
p.m.
The
purpose of this event is to encourage men and
women in business law to join together to further communication and collaboration between different
sectors of the business community.
From 6:00
– 6:30 p.m., Julie Hagen Showers will lead a discussion on
Conflict Competency: Life Lessons Gained in Private, Corporate and Public
Practice.
Julie is the
Director of the Office for Conflict Resolution at the University of
Minnesota. Prior to joining the University in 2014, she bookended her
legal career in private practice, beginning at Robins, Kaplan, Miller and Ciresi
and ending at FordHarrison. In between, she spent 17 years at Northwest
and Delta Airlines, serving in officer roles in Labor Relations and Inflight
Services.
