IP Demand Letters from the Sender's and Recipient's Perspective

Event Description

Deadline to Register: April 24, 2015

In this "Information Age", whether a company is engaged in an intellectual property (IP) intensive business or not, it is bound to own IP rights that need to be protected and enforced. However, because other companies also own and want to enforce their IP rights, companies are likely to be the recipient of claims of alleged infringement or misappropriation of the IP rights of others. This program will discuss strategies and best practices for sending and responding to IP demand letters, including notice of patent letters, cease and desist letters and DMCA take-down notices.

Registration will begin at 4:45 p.m. The program will begin at 5:00 p.m. followed by a social hour with complimentary drinks and appetizers.

Presenters:

Kristine Dorrain, Director of Internet and IP Services at National Arbitration Forum
