discussed:
1. The current technology and where
drones are headed.
2. The good, the bad, and the ugly.
3. Drone
law—the FAA, commercial use, torts, privacy, and freedom of
expression.
The Computer and Technology Section Council will meet at 11:30 a.m. followed
by lunch and the CLE at Noon.
Speaker:
James Christopher Evans is a partner with the firm of Beck
Tysver Evans in Minneapolis. Chris graduated from the University of Texas
School of Law, and has two degrees in mathematics, and a Ph.D. from Florida
State University focused on numerical modeling of geophysical fluid dynamics
systems. At BTE, Chris primarily does patent prosecution relating to
electronic devices, software, energy and environmental systems, modeling and
simulation, vehicle technology, A/V systems, and social networking.
