Final
FDA rules for
Preventive Controls for Human and Animal Food will roll out in August of this
year. The final rules for the Foreign Supplier Verification Program,
Produce Safety and Third-Party Auditor Accreditation will issue in October,
2015.
If
you or your client produce, store, pack, manufacture or handle food, these rules
apply.
Using your time efficiently, understand
what the FDA will expect of you and your clients this year with a streamlined
presentation covering the salient points of the upcoming final rules for
2015. Learn what high risk foods are, what types of farms are
covered, what the actual definition of “importer” means to you and your foreign
manufacturer, and what a preventive control plan should cover.
A continental breakfast will be served
starting at 8:15 a.m. followed by the CLE program at 8:30 a.m. Special
meal requests need to be received no later than Monday, May
18.
