Employment Law Issues for the Poverty Law Attorney: Wage and Hour

Series Program 3: This presentation will address the basic elements of possible wage & hour claims under state and federal law, including claims for minimum wage, overtime pay, unpaid wages and commissions, unlawful pay deductions, and related statutory penalties and liquidated damages. The CLE will introduce participants to a subset of relevant employment law topics while providing guidance on issue spotting, remedies and client resources/ referrals in order to comply with ABA model Rule 6.1: Voluntary Pro Bono Public Service.

Lunch and registration will begin at 11:30. The program will begin at noon.
