The billable hour is no longer
the only appropriate legal model of practicing law. Our panel will go beyond the
“billable hour” to discuss alternative legal models outside the traditional
practice of law, including alternative solo and small practices, attorney freelancing,
as well as alternative fee arrangements and billing models. The individual speakers in this panel
will give their perspectives on which of these tools they implement in
their own practices, why they implement these alternatives, and how
you can apply these alternatives to your own practice.
