Please note that the Section Business Meeting starts at 12 noon and the CLE is at 12:15 pm.

Lunch is brown bag. Refreshments will be provided, however.

International dispute resolution proceedings usually are conducted in very different ways compared with domestic US disputes.  Hear from two experienced international dispute specialists as they discuss some of these differences, which may be beneficial to the conduct of US dispute resolution.  Topics to be discussed include:  minimal (or no) discovery or only focused document production; written direct evidence submission; witness agreements, use of neutrals, “hot-tubbing” of expert witnesses; post-hearing memoranda; and others.
