civilian jobs to serve our nation in uniform. The presenters will discuss the
broad protections for servicemember-employees and their families under USERRA
and FMLA, and how those laws impact Minnesota employers. Topics will include
recent developments in dealing with disabilities incurred during military
service, benefits for returning servicemembers, leave provisions under FMLA for
their family members, and recent case law regarding the enforceability of
arbitration clauses.
